Often ridiculed, this pedal is fantastic for those looking for a scooped sound for their guitar. It's super gainy, with plenty of control over your EQ. Not subtle at all, but a lot of fun.
Pedaaltje zelf is qua bouwkwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid niets mis mee. Is een stevig pedaaltje, kleur is mooi, lampje is fel genoeg, knoppen voelen robuust aan. Je kunt er veel mee doen om het geluid te vervormen en voor het geld is het een prima apparaat. Echter, en dit is puur smaak, is dit hem uiteindelijk niet geworden voor mij. Tuurlijk heet het pedaaltje ook 'metal zone' dus je verwacht ook wel dat je geluid extreem overstuurt. Maar naar mijn idee wordt het geluid véél te plat vanwege dit digitale kastje. Ook als oefen materiaal zou ik deze niet meer aansluiten voor mijn doeleinden. Ik raad hem niet af, wellicht valt ie in de smaak maar ik heb bij veel muzikanten gezien dat ie uiteindelijk weer de deur uit gaat omdat ze toch iets 'volwassener geluid' zoeken.
